I Corinthians 1-3

"The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are being destroyed.  But it is the power of God for those of us who are being saved" (I Corinthians 1:18).  In these chapters Paul reminds us that it is not the famous, or the clever preacher, or the wisdom of the ages that truly converts us.  It is the power of God.
